The Powerstage RR Limited edition is the first Ducati e-enduro with carbon fiber frame, a concentration of technology and advanced componentry for category-topping performance.
The new Shimano EP801 engine with its 85Nm of torque, Öhlins suspension, carbon wheels, powerful brakes and 12-speed electronic SRAM Drivetrain all ensure maximum performance on the most extreme enduro routes.
The special livery designed by Aldo Drudi in collaboration with the Centro Stile Ducati, and inspired by the official team’s Desmosedici GP23, enhances the unique character of this model, of which only 230 numbered units are produced.
The frame has undergone comprehensive testing on the most arduous trails with just one goal – to ensure maximum performance in the enduro arena. Choices as to the arrangement of the carbon layers and the types of fiber weave are the result of FEM (Finite Element Analysis), which allows for identification of the points under most stress and that require increased support. Greater attention is paid to stiffness in the head tube area, the rear triangle and the motor area, reinforced with two ‘T-Ribs’. The long tube is characterized by carbon fiber of multiple degrees of thicknesses in order to better disperse the tensions on the roughest sections. The asymmetrical lower chaynstays as well as presenting an attractive design is designed to improve responsiveness and uphill traction.
Fine details
The frame also features many other high-quality, functional details, such as the internal cable routing, protected by a steering lock system (T-Stopper), bearings on the joints, in direct contact with the carbon with no need for bushing, and a very quick removal system of the integrated battery.
Modern “enduro” geometry
The modern geometric solutions adopted, such as the 78° vertical seat tube angle that allows the biker to adopt the ideal riding position on technical uphill sections or the 64° head angle that helps to overcome any obstacle at high speed, make the Powerstage RR extremely fast and stable on the most demanding of trails.
